Erectile dysfunction treatments and medications are not something a man with a bent penis should be experimenting with.

Penis Surgery:


This was the first medical method that proved to work reliably. At one time penile surgery was the only available treatment.

Penile surgery will give the quickest results. From the time you get operated on until the time you can use your penis for sex again is about 8 weeks.

The cost is about $9,000 - $18,000.

You’ll be in the hospital for a few days. With a catheter. And, it’s not terribly pleasant.

But, you’ll be back in the saddle again in a couple of months. If all goes well.

And, that’s a BIG “if”.

This type of surgery comes with a lot of possible pretty terrible side effects that include:

• Damage to the urethra
  
  
• Scarring (which could cause future bending)

Also, there is a 25% chance that the problem is going to return after the 5 year mark.

You may wind up needing erectile dysfunction treatments (PDE-5 inhibitors, such as Viagra) after surgery.

XIAFLEX® Injections

XIAFLEX® Injections are a relatively new treatment. Only a few years old at this writing.

They are the only FDA approved injections for Peyronies penis straightening.

We refer to them as “the rich man’s treatment”.

Why?

A full set will cost you between $30,000 and $50,000.

"This therapy requires 10 physician visits over a 5 month period and costs > $50,000 for a full treatment series.

It also results in notable adverse events including risk of penile fracture and significant penile ecchymoses (discoloration from internal bleeding).

The results are not overly impressive. The best they advertise is 35% correction. And, that is only for certain types of cases.

However, 35% can be enough for many men to return to a normal sex life. And, it enables many men to avoid a more invasive surgery.

Unfortunately, XIAFLEX® Injections come with some serious possible side effects of their own. Including corporal rupture (internal bleeding) which is a medical emergency. You can find the complete information on the official XIAFLEX® website.

Penis Traction Therapy (PTT):

Dr. Jorn Ege Siana

PTT was first developed in 1994 by a penis surgery specialist named Dr. Jorn Ege Siana.

Dr. Siana invented the traction device to keep a penis straight during the healing process that comes after a penile straightening surgery.

It worked extremely well.

More important: Dr. Siana soon found that his traction device could be used to straighten a penis all by itself. Without any surgery.

This was a land mark in penile straightening. And, correct traction is still the Safest and Most Effective method of penile straightening available.

Making
Your Choice

A severely bent penis is a nightmare of it’s own when it first happens.

The good news is that a bent penis is easy to fix 99% of the time without surgery, injections, or drugs. Penis traction therapy is the method of choice.

Does PTT Take So Long?

A surgery slices up the shaft and does an immediate reconstruction of the shaft. The whole procedure is under 2 hours. Then you need about 3 days in the hospital and 8 more weeks for the healing to be complete.

With PTT you are simply stretching the hardened tissue that is causing the bend. Just like a dancer or athlete stretches out their muscles.

The tissue slowly lengthens.

New tissue is even formed in the short tissue because of tiny microscopic tears that occur during the process.

You don’t feel or see these tiny tears. There is no bleeding. And, they heal with fresh new cellular growth that is permanent.

As the tissue expands and adds permanent new length, the penis straightens.

Using
Erectile Dysfunction Treatments

As you learned, erectile dysfunction treatments and medications should not be needed after PTT. They are commonly used after a surgery.

Using erectile dysfunction treatments while the penis is bent makes no sense at all.

This is because: Erectile dysfunction treatments and medications used while the penis is bent may be highly ineffective. You’ll still have a bent erection. Further: Erectile dysfunction medications and herbal formulas come with some pretty terrible possible side effects of their own, including blindness and death.

CONCLUSIONS

• Erectile dysfunction treatments, medications and herbal products should be avoided when a bent penis is causing the ED.


• Surgery and injections used for straightening come with some very serious possible side effects including possible erectile dysfunction, corporal rupture, and impotence.


• Non invasive penile straightening, such as PTT, comes with none of the possible surgical and injection side effects.
